Although the hotel lacked charm and ventilation, the stay was made pleasant by the helpful service and very nice breakfast selection. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the dining experience, while not ideal, offered good Italian standards. Overall, a comfortable stay with convenient access to the city center.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location, just a stone's throw from the castle and cathedral, and within walking distance to a variety of shops and restaurants. The noisy traffic outside and the initial lack of warmth from the staff were minor drawbacks, but overall, it served as a great home base for exploring Italy.

My room overlooked a busy street, so I had to keep the windows shut to block out the noise. However, the shutters helped reduce the disturbances effectively.

While the staff initially seemed a bit aloof, they were knowledgeable and helpful once engaged. It was a nice gesture that they installed an anti-mosquito device in my room without me asking, even though their demeanor could have been friendlier.
